BNP organizing secretary and former deputy minister Asadul Habib Dulu said that God’s wrath fell on Sheikh Hasina, not on the movement of students or BNP. Sheikh Hasina ran away from that rumour. The student movement or BNP movement was just the beginning of that rumour.
He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at a staff meeting of BNP at the Kaliganj auditorium hall of Lalmonirhat on Tuesday (September 3) night.
Former minister Asadul Habib Dulu said that there will be no night voting. Jatiya Party is a bigger criminal than Awami League. Because the Jatiya Party has supported the Awami League to stay in power for the last 16 years. He also said that if BNP comes to power, those who were martyred in the anti-discrimination movement will be declared martyrs in the state. BNP wants to build a democratic Bangladesh with the people of the country, wants to build a country without discrimination. God’s wrath has fallen on Sheikh Hasina for committing excessive sins, not because of the movement of students or BNP. That is why Sheikh Hasina was forced to flee the country.
At this time, he called upon the BNP leaders and activists to be alert so that the Awami League does not create trouble during the upcoming Durga Puja.
Kaliganj upazila BNP convenor Jahangir Alam presided over the said staff meeting, district BNP vice-president Rokon Uddin Babul, BNP vice-president Rafiqul Islam, joint secretary Mamimul Haque, organizing secretary Afzal Hossain, Hatibandha BNP member secretary Afzal Hossain, BNP leader Farhan Uddin Pasha, upazila youth party convenor Jahangir Alam Angur, volunteer party convenor Tanveer Sabu, Chhatra Dal convenor Bulbul etc.
