7 members of Ajyan party of Laksam inter-district were arrested along with 3 mixers and 1 mobile stolen. Laksam police arrested seven members of intra-district Ajyan (Malam) party along with three stolen auto-rickshaws and a mobile phone at Comilla Laksam police station. The police managed to detain six more people after detaining Shahjahan (26), son of Zakir Hossain of Panshahi Haji Bari of Kachua police station, leader of Ajyan Party, from Laksam Bijra Bazar and interrogating him. The remaining six are Mizanur Rahman (31) son of Ali Ahmad of Panshahi Haji Bari of Kachua Upazila, Nurul Islam (24) son of Harun Or Rashid of Madhaiya Kurban Ghazi Bari of Chandina Upazila, son of deceased Nezam of Chittagong Baklia Upazila (he is currently a resident of Tomsam Bridge area of Comilla). Mizan (23), Hanif (32) son of Suruj Mia of Kofil Uddin’s house in Nahal village of Muradnagar upazila, Shipan Mia (23) son of deceased freedom fighter Ismail Mia of Barayakuri village of Chandina upazila, Suman Ahmed (25) son of Dulal Mia of Naotla village of the same upazila.
