Bangladesh Farmers’ League Kishoreganj district branch organized a tree planting program.

On Sunday morning (July 7) in the opening speech of the tree planting program in Maria Bisik Shilpanagar area under the initiative of Kishoreganj District Farmers League.
Bangladesh Krishak League central committee president, agriculturist Sameer Chand said, on the one hand, the effect of rain is also intense heat. Everyone should plant trees to avoid this heat.

Rezwan Ahmed Taufiq, President of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges and Member of Parliament of Kishoreganj-4 Constituency was the chief guest in the program.

Acting General Secretary of Bangladesh Krishak League Biswanath Sarkar Bittu was the main speaker in the tree plantation program under the chairmanship of district Krishak League president Ahmed Ullah and general secretary Anwar Hossain Bachchu.

District Awami League President and District Council Chairman Birmuktijoddha Advocate Zillur Rahman, District Awami League General Secretary Birmuktijoddha Advocate MA Afzal, Bangladesh Farmers League Vice President Mohammad Akbar Ali Chaudhuri, Bangladesh Farmers League Vice President and Dhaka Metropolitan North Convener Maksudul Islam, Bangladesh Farmers League Organizing Secretary and Dhaka Metropolitan North Member Secretary Dr. Habibur Rahman Mollah, District Awami League Forest and Environment Affairs Secretary Enayet Karim Ami, Bangladesh Farmers League Member Aktaruzzaman Shipon and others.

Hundreds of trees were planted in the program. At this time, leaders and activists from different levels of the district and upazila participated in the program.
