Within two days of the killing of Sharafpur UP Chairman Rabiul Islam Rabi of Dumuria Upazila in Khulna, another murder has occurred. This time Al-Amin (45), a former co-convener of the city’s 27th Ward Jubo League, has been murdered. Miscreants hacked him to death in Lohargate area of East Banyakhama of the city around 9:30 pm on Monday.
According to related sources, Al Amin (45), son of Jahangir Sheikh, a resident of Lohar Gate area of East Baniakhamar of the city, came to Munnar’s garage around 9 pm and some miscreants hacked him with chapati and left him behind. Later the locals rescued him and took him to Khulna Medical College Hospital where the doctor on duty declared him dead.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Khulna Sadar Police Station, Md. Kamal Hossain said, the miscreants stabbed and injured the Munnar garage in Al Amin East Baniakhamar area. When the locals took him to the hospital, the doctor on duty declared him brought dead. In the name of Alamin, 10 cases of murder and drugs are ongoing in Khulna Sadar police station. A few days ago, Alamin was arrested in a drug case. Earlier on last Saturday night, miscreants shot and killed Sharafpur UP Chairman Rabiul Islam Ravi of Dumuria upazila.
