The closing ceremony of the National Nutrition Week 2025, which began on May 28, was held under the supervision of Kaptai Upazila Health Complex under the theme “Nutritious Food for All from Children to Senior Citizens” with the aim of increasing public awareness about nutrition nationwide. Organized by the Public Health Nutrition Institute, the closing discussion meeting was held at the conference room of the Health Department at 11 am in the conference room of the Health Department under the chairmanship of Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Ruihla Ang Marma and was attended by Upazila Executive Officer Mohammad Ruhul Amin as the chief guest. Upazila Family Planning Officer Dr. Naima Elias, Upazila Women’s Affairs Officer Rini Chakma, Upazila Administrative Officer Barun Kanti Chakma, Upazila Safe Food Inspector Md. Elias, along with government officials, health department officials and media personnel, and students from various schools in Kaptai were present. On the occasion of Nutrition Week, quiz, drawing and essay competitions were organized with students from various schools in Kaptai in collaboration with the local Red Crescent. Later, the chief guest distributed prizes among the winners.
