Md. Milan Raihan,Joypurhat Correspondent: Today 01.05.25 May Day was celebrated with due dignity in Joypurhat with various events. On Thursday, on the occasion of the day, a rally was taken out from Ramdeo Bajla School in Joypurhat at 9:30 am at the initiative of the district administration with the participation of various labor organizations.
The rally circled the city’s main roads and ended at the Circuit House premises.
The rally was attended by Deputy Commissioner Afroza Akhter Chowdhury, Additional Superintendent of Police Jinnah Al Mamun, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Bipul Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Sabur Ali, BNP Rajshahi Divisional Co-Organizing Secretary AHM Obaidur Rahman Chandan,
District BNP convener Golzar Hossain, senior joint convener Masud Rana Pradhan, joint convener Abdul Wahab, acting general secretary of the District Motor Workers Union Umme Ali Himmat, district workers’ party president Babul Karim, general secretary of Joypurhat District Sammilit Sramik Federation Abdul Matin and leaders of various labor organizations were present.
