In Madaripur, a joint operation of students, army and RAB has been conducted to control the prices of all essential commodities in the ongoing market instability like the rest of the country.
This joint operation was conducted in the old market of the city on Sunday (August 10) afternoon.
According to RAB-8, a group of 50-60 students from the conscious student society came to Madaripur RAB camp today in the afternoon to control the prices of all necessary products due to the ongoing market instability in the country. They seek the help of RAB and army members to prevent the price hike of fruit and vegetable traders in Mustafapur Bazar area of ​​Madaripur city. In solidarity with the students, Bangladesh Army and RAB-8 are jointly patrolling the Puran Bazar area. Traders and buyers negotiated with the general. All are requested to cooperate in keeping the price of the commodity tolerable. This operation and patrol with the participation of RAB has raised hope of relief in the public mind.
Madaripur RAB-8 Company Commander Lt. Md. Shahriar Rifat Abhi said that the situation is normal at present. RAB’s patrolling operations are ongoing and will continue in the future.
