The swearing-in and induction training ceremony of intern doctors at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital has been completed.
The ceremony began at 11 am today, Sunday, June 1, at the Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman Auditorium. Despite the rain and waterlogging throughout the day, the intern doctors spontaneously participated in the oath-taking ceremony.
Mymensingh Medical College Hospital Director Brigadier General Md. Golam Ferdous administered the oath at the ceremony. Mymensingh Medical College Principal Professor Dr. Nazmul Alam Khan was present as the chief guest. The hospital’s assistant director, the college’s vice-principal and various department heads were present as special guests.
The intern doctors are very happy to organize the oath-taking ceremony after a long time. When asked about their feelings, Dr. Shakib Hasan Belal, President of the Momekha Intern Doctors Society, said, “The oath-taking ceremony is a great honor for every intern doctor. We are all very happy that this ceremony has been completed at MMC after a long time due to the hard work of all our batchmates. We hope that this trend will continue in the next batches as well.”
