A month-long art and trade fair was inaugurated in a festive atmosphere in a colorful arrangement at the city’s church grounds (Kashinath Alauddin School and College) on February 13. Moulvibazar-3 Member of Parliament and District Awami League President Neshar Ahmad inaugurated the fair by flying pigeons and balloons in addition to cutting the ribbon in the opening ceremony. Chairman of the Union Alhaj Abu Sufian attended the event as special guests – Moulvibazar Deputy Commissioner Mir Nahid Ahsan, Moulvibazar Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Hasan Mohammad.

The organizers said that the fair has healthy entertainment for children and stalls of various products. The fair has its own security system including ready-made clothes, sarees and jute goods and other products at fair prices and to ensure that customers shop safely in the fair.
