Animal Welfare Week and Exhibition inaugurated in Rajbari. Deputy Commissioner Abu Qaiser Khan inaugurated the livestock service week and exhibition as the chief guest under the chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Officer Marzia Sultana in the organization of Sadar Upazila Animal Resources and Veterinary Poultry Hospital. At this time, the district animal resource officer Dr. was present as a special guest. Md. Fazlul Haque Sardar, Sadar Upazila Vice Chairman Md. Rakibul Hasan Piyal and others. In more than 50 stalls, farmers display their pets, cows, goats, horses, buffaloes, sheep, pheasants, foreign chickens, birds, etc. Jahangir, a foreign chicken farmer and entrepreneur, said, I came to the country and started a foreign chicken farm in 2016 after not being able to do well abroad. I have more than fifty foreign chickens in my house. In this exhibition, we have brought thirty species of chickens including different breeds of Japanese silver lace, Europe’s Fizzle, America’s Braham breed. Such exhibitions are very important in creating young entrepreneurs. Razia, a foreign bird trader, said, I used to spend idle time at home. Hatat became a hobby of bird rearing, later I am rearing birds commercially. I am also benefiting financially and my time is also passing.
Rajbari Deputy Commissioner Abu Qaiser said, Hon’ble Chief Minister said not even an inch of land can be left vacant. Following that, we have brought all the lands under cultivation. Along with that, we are working with animal resources and fish resources. Today’s exhibition has been organized in that context. Various farmers are participating here, hopefully seeing them, other farmers will be encouraged and people at the individual level will be encouraged. We will work with animal resources. Rajbari Sadar Upazila Animal Resources Officer Dr. Khair Uddin Ahmed said, keeping in mind the concept of Smart Live Stock, Smart Bangladesh, Rajbari Sadar Upazila Animal Resources Department has organized Livestock Service Week and Exhibition like the rest of the country. The main objective of the exhibition is to present the variety of animal resources in front of the Rajbari and inform about their management. In addition to this, highlighting its importance in front of young entrepreneurs. In today’s exhibition, more than fifty stalls of farmers have displayed their farm animals. Hopefully many young entrepreneurs will be created.
