 In Barura, Comilla, on Wednesday, April 19, an Iftar mahfil and a new committee were announced at Jhlam High School and College Auditorium under the initiative of Greater Jhlam Blood Bank. Under the chairmanship of organization president Bachir Hossain, Munshiganj Sirajdikhan Upazila Secondary Education Officer and BHAB President Md. Mizanur Rahman Bhuia was present as the chief guest, organization advisor, senior lecturer and Barura Upazila Press Club President Mohammad Masud Majumdar, Jhlam High School and College was present as special guest. Senior lecturer Mohammad Shahjalal, teachers Md. Zahirul Islam Chowdhury, Abduch Salam, Nurul Haque, Abul Hossain, Dr. Niamat Ullah Sumon, Abu Saleh Sabbir, Member of Bangladesh Police Administration Jewel Hossain, volunteers of the organization Shariful Islam, Golam Kibria Bappi, Farhan were also present. Ahmed Hriday, Simon, Sajib, Sohail Rana, prominent people of the area. Emdadul Islam Riaz, general secretary of the organization conducted the program. At the end of the event, the new committee for 2023 and 2024 was announced by the patron of the organization and general secretary of the Barura Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee Azhar Suman.
