In protest against the terror attack on Shipan Chandra Roy, Assistant (Mathematics) teacher of Galachipa Suhri Secondary School, Patuakhali.
Teachers, students, parents and locals participated in Golkhali Suhri Secondary School for an hour on Sunday around 10 am. At this time, parents of students and local residents demanded exemplary punishment of Sabuj Khan. Assistant teacher Shipon Chandra Sheel led the human bond.
Zolekha Begum, the assistant head teacher in Manabbandhan, told the media that last Wednesday, during school hours, when I spoke about the illegal managing committee of our school, the assistant teacher Sabuj Khan attacked me. Then the teacher Shipon Chandra said what madam said is right, Sabuj Khan insulted Shipon Chandra by calling him a barber and a malaun after hearing this. At one point, Sabuj Khan went to take the baton to kill Shipan Chandra, but was stopped by the other teachers. In this situation I feel insecure as a woman. I demand exemplary punishment for this.
Note that last Thursday around 9:30 AM Shipon Chandra Roy was attacked in front of Haridebpur school on his way to school from his home, assistant teacher Shipan Chandra Sheel filed a complaint with copies of upazila executive officer and upazila secondary education officer.
