Residents of Rangpur Pagalpir have formed a human chain to demand exemplary punishment for the killers of madrasa students. A human chain was held demanding the arrest and exemplary punishment of those involved in the murder of Md. Shahinur Islam (Maun) (12), a student of the Nazra section of Nurul Qur’an Hafizia Madrasa, Paglapir, No. 2, Haridebpur Union, Rangpur Sadar Upazila. On Saturday (July 15, 2023) around 11 am, the local people organized this human chain around the goal area of Pagalpi market. On May 16, the police recovered the body of boy Shahinur (12) from the sugarcane field next to the model mosque in Paglapir area of Sadar upazila.
