Some miscreants set fire to the motorcycle of M Zafran Haroon, the vice president of press club Bauphal , the district representative of Dainik Khabar Bangladesh newspaper on Sunday 12-02-2023 at 12 o’clock in the night. Law enforcement forces have not been able to bring any culprit under the law in the said incident. In protest of this, the media workers, Shudhijan and local people of Bauphal organized a human chain and protest program in front of Press Club Bauphal on Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock. Press Club Bauphal President Arifuzzaman Khan Riyad, General Secretary Mahmud Hasan Rubel, Vice President Firoz Alom, Md Nurul Islam Sohail, Md Saidur Rahman, Joint General Secretary Safiqul Islam, Organizing Secretary Lincoln Mahamud, Office Secretary Md Prince, Assistant Office Secretary were present in the program. Sanjay Debnath, representative Nasir Khan of our economy newspaper, panel chairman of Madanpura Union Parishad Zahid Mollah along with Shudhijan and local public were present. Speakers in the said human chain and protest program said that the culprits should be arrested without delay and brought under the law, otherwise a bigger program will be taken.
