Police recovered the hanging body of a housewife named Roksana Akhtar (20) in Laksam, Comilla on Wednesday (April 30). There is widespread speculation in the area about whether the housewife’s death was a murder or suicide.
The deceased housewife of Gobindapur village in Gobindapur union of the upazila was the wife of Faisal Ahmed, son of the deceased Shahid Ullah of that village, and the daughter of Ali Ashraf of Palkot village in the same union.
Laksam Police Station SI Md. Harunur Rashid recovered the body from the scene. Laksam Police Station OC Nazneen Sultana said the body has been recovered and sent to the morgue for autopsy. Legal action will be taken if the family files a case.
