On the occasion of the Great Victory Day on 16th December, Rana Ahmed Rahmatullah, the former student leader of Dhaka North Metropolis and currently the General Secretary of Ward No. 43, Rana Ahmed Rahmatullah, on behalf of the public leader SM Mannan Kochi Bhai, congratulated the honorable citizens of Bangladesh who are staying abroad.

He said in a greeting message, on the Great Victory Day, we deeply remember the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the four national leaders, three million brave martyrs and two hundred thousand mothers and sisters. In return for their sacrifice, we got the red-green flag and the beloved motherland Bangladesh.

In his congratulatory message, he said, the victory of December 16, 1971 ended the dark chapter of 23 and a half years of discrimination, exploitation, deprivation and torture by the Pakistani ruling class.

Also, the emotional memories of crores of people are attached to this victory. Especially those who have seen or participated in the liberation war. The entire month of victory is a month of absolute power for them.

He also said that we should be united under the leadership of national treasure Sheikh Hasina against various conspiracies at home and abroad, bearing the ideology of Bangabandhu and the spirit of liberation war. Like every year, this year also in the month of victory, the countrymen will rejoice in the joy of victory and liberation. Invigorated by love and saddened by grief, they will pay tribute to countless freedom fighters. In various events, the memory of the liberation war and love for the martyrs will resonate in everyone’s consciousness.
