Md. Zillur Rahman Jewel Galachipa, (Patuakhali): Preparations for the celebration of the holy Eid-ul-Adha and a special law and order meeting were held. On Tuesday, June 3rd at 11 am, the meeting was chaired by Executive Officer Md. Mahmudul Hasan in the hall room of the Upazila Executive Office. Upazila Health Officer Dr. Mohammad Mejbah Uddin, Galachipa Police Station (OC) Asadur Rahman, Upazila BNP President Bir Muktijoddha Alhaj Md. Siddiqur Rahman, Upazila Amir of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh Md. Zakir Hossain, People’s Rights Advocate Md. Hafizur Rahman, Municipal BNP President Md. Mizanur Rahman, Imam Parishad General Secretary Alhaj Maulana Abdul Qayyum, Pesh Imam of Government Model Mosque Md. Dalil Uddin, Pesh Imam of various mosques, Press Club President Md. Khalid Hossain Milton and various media persons were present in the discussion. Various plans were taken in the discussion, including the preservation of animal skins and waste disposal. In addition, various decisions were taken to maintain law and order in various issues including excessive rent at animal markets, counterfeit money, and drugs.
