Four Rohingyas who were abducted from Alikhali hills in Teknaf in Cox’s Bazar district have returned from the hideout of terrorists after two days. For this, they had to pay a ransom of five lakh taka. Last Monday (June 5) evening, after paying the ransom, they were released near the camp. The four returned abductees are Mohammad Yunus (32), son of Noor Hossain (32), resident of Alikhali Camp-25 Block D/22/ of Hnila Union, Mohammad Sultan (24), son of Mohammad Rafiq of the same camp, Abdullah (16), son of Abdur Rahman and Mohammad Syed. Son Anwar Islam (18). According to reliable sources, last Monday evening, miscreants released four Rohingyas with a ransom of five lakh rupees. They were given first aid at NGO hospital. APBN police later handed them over to their families. Before this, last Sunday evening, the terrorists cut off the wrist of abducted Jahangir Alam near the camp and left him seriously injured. The people of the camp rescued him after receiving the news and took him to the hospital. The fact that the kidnappers returned after releasing them confirmed the fact that the 16 Armed Police Battalion (APBN) Superintendent of Police Mohd Jamal Pasha, who is in charge of the security of the Rohingya camp. He claimed that he did not know about paying the ransom. But he said, maybe because of the operation, the terrorists were forced to release them.
