Former president of Kishoreganj. Abdul Hamid’s residence was attacked, vandalized and set on fire. On Monday (August 5) afternoon, hundreds of people broke the main gate and ransacked a residence in Kharampatti area of ​​the city.

According to the locals, the excited mob brought out some of the belongings of the house and set them on fire. Apart from this, people carry various household items hand in hand.

Also, the house of Syed Ashfaqul Islam Titu, the former general secretary of the district Awami League, was vandalized. Different types of goods are also taken by the common people from the house. Besides, the residence of DMP Joint Commissioner Biplab Kumar Sarkar in Kharampatti area was attacked and vandalized. District Chhatra League President Md. Anwar Hossain Molla Sumon’s residence and private chamber. There have been incidents of attack, vandalism and looting at the offices of Time Television and Daily Bangladesh, Press Club located in the city’s Kalibari Market.

On the other hand, the office of the Deputy Commissioner, the office of the Superintendent of Police and the Kishoreganj Model Police Station were attacked. Army has been deployed in all these establishments.
