‎Former MP from Comilla-9 (Laksam-Manoharganj) constituency and former BNP central organizing secretary Colonel (retd) M Anwarul Azim is no more.
‎
‎He passed away at 4 am on Saturday (May 31), (Inna-Lillah…. Rajiun). At the time of his death, he left behind his wife, a son, a daughter, numerous relatives, well-wishers, and party leaders and activists.
‎
‎Five funeral prayers will be held for the deceased, the first at 10:30 am at Mohakhali New DOHS, the second at 12:00 noon in front of the Nayapaltan BNP central office, the third after Asr at Laksham Government Pilot High School grounds, the fourth after Maghrib at Manoharganj Government High School and College grounds, and the fifth and last after Isha at the deceased’s home in Sharifpur village.

‎The death of BNP’s veteran and popular politician Colonel (retd) M Anwarul Azim has cast a shadow of grief over his constituency and the greater Comilla region.
‎
‎People from all walks of life, including leaders and activists of BNP and its associate organizations, are expressing their condolences and writing emotional memorials for this leader on social media Facebook.
