Fire in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, tragic death of 7 Bangladeshis

There was a fire in a furniture factory in the city of Dammam, Saudi Arabia.  9 people died including seven Bangladeshi citizens.  Two more people are also hospitalized with burns.
 The incident took place in a furniture factory in Hupup Sanaiya area of ​​Dammam on Friday afternoon (July 14).  Bangladesh Embassy in Saudi Arabia has confirmed this.
 According to the official of the embassy, ​​there are 7 Bangladeshi citizens among the dead.  There is also an Indian national.
 The Bangladesh Embassy also said that three of the dead Bangladeshis are residents of Natore district and one is resident of Rajshahi district.  Acquaintances are needed to identify victims.  But so far no one has been found except one’s relatives.  In the meantime, the labor councilor from the Bangladesh Embassy has reached the accident site to identify the victims.
 Meanwhile, after getting the information about the fire, the fire service personnel quickly reached the spot and after a long effort, the fire was brought under control.  The bodies of the victims were recovered from the spot and sent to the local hospital morgue and some were admitted to the emergency department of the hospital with burns.
 It is not yet known where the fire started.  Saudi authorities have already started an investigation to find out the exact cause of the incident.
