During the anti-discrimination student movement, various teams of the district police arrested 15 accused and suspected accused from different parts of the district in connection with the shooting and killing of 12 protesting students in Mohipal of Fenir on 4th August.
On the afternoon of November 10 (Sunday), the accused were sent to the court from Feni Model Police Station.
According to police information, the arrested accused are Abdul Karim (65), son of deceased Abdul Sattar, resident of Ward No. 10 of the city, joint general secretary of Feni District Awami League, Delwar Hossain Biplab Patwari (45), son of deceased Ruhul Amin of Fazilpur Union, Ali Akbar, son of Motbi Yuni. Karim (52), Khayez Ahmed (45), son of deceased Mokhleshur Rahman of Panchgachia Union, Zobair Hossain Mahim (25) son of Delwar Hossain of Ward No. 13 of Feni Municipality, Abul Khair (67) son of deceased Jan Mia of Fazilpur Union, Ayyub Ahmed Ansari (52) son of deceased Sofiullah of Lemua UP, Haji son of deceased Ah Chattar of Ward No. 10 of Feni Municipality. Abdul Karim (65), deceased of Farhadnagar Union Md. Abul Kalam (50), son of Khurshid Alam, Kazi Shariat Ullah Jewel (35), son of deceased Kazi Aman Ullah of Panchgachia Union,

Jasim Uddin (39), son of Abdur Rauf of Fazilpur Union, Md. Idris Munsi (35), son of deceased Rashid member of Dhalia Union.
Confirming the matter of sending the accused to the court, Officer-in-Charge of Feni Model Police Station Maram Singh Tripura said that the said accused have been arrested from different parts of the district and they have been sent to the court to take further legal action.
