Police have arrested a drug dealer named Enayet Sheikh with heroin in Goalanda, Rajbari.
Goalandaghat Police confirmed this information through a press release on Tuesday (April 22) afternoon.
The arrested person is Enayet Sheikh (36), son of Sheikh Joynal of Ofazuddin Matubbar Dangi area of North Channel UP under Faridpur Kotwali Police Station.
Based on a secret tip-off, at around 5:30 pm on Monday, Goalandghat Police Station SI Md. Billal Hossain along with a joint force conducted a raid and arrested Enayet Sheikh with 30 (thirty) grams of heroin from the paved road in front of the gate of Nuru Chairman’s hatchery in Dulal Bepari Para area of Daulatdia UP of the upazila.
Goalandaghat Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Rakibul Islam said that he was arrested in a raid based on a secret tip-off. He was sent to Rajbari court on Tuesday afternoon.
