Goalanda Ghat Police have arrested a drug dealer named Hasan Reza (34) from Daulatdia area of ​​Goalanda upazila with 2,020 pieces of yaba tablets. He is the son of Abdul Haque of Bhajandanga village of Kotwali police station of Faridpur district.
He was arrested in front of Daulatdia Bangladesh Hatchery on Dhaka-Khulna highway after Monday evening.
Goalanda Ghat Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Rakibul Islam said that a team of Goalanda Ghat Police Station arrested professional drug dealer Hasan Reza based on secret information. During this, 2,020 pieces of yaba tablets were recovered from him. A case has been filed against him under the Narcotics Control Act at Goalanda Ghat Police Station in this incident. He also said that there are multiple cases against him under the Narcotics Control Act in various police stations including Faridpur Kotwali Police Station and Dhaka Shahbagh Police Station.
