In a special police operation in Rajbari’s Goalanda Ghat police station, a drug dealer named Nuru Sheikh (27) was arrested with 53 grams of heroin.
He was arrested in a raid in front of a paan shop next to the passenger shelter of the Daulatdia bus terminal under Goalanda Ghat police station around 8 pm on Friday (May 2).
The arrested Nuru Sheikh is the son of Babu Sheikh of Kazipara area of ​​Goalanda upazila.
Goalanda Ghat police station’s Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Rakibul Islam said that the raid was led by police SI Md. Billal Hossain and Nuru Shekhar was arrested with 53 grams of heroin.
A regular case was filed under the Narcotics Control Act at Goalanda Ghat police station in this incident and he was sent to jail through the Rajbari court on Saturday (May 3).
