Rajbari in 100 women workers have received checks for their savings in addition to work in the Panshay Rural Employment and Road Maintenance (RERMP) project . At the same time, they also received a certificate as recognition of the work.
Today (August 29) on Thursday morning, the LGED Pangsha Upazila Engineer’s office distributed checks and certificates of accumulated money among the women workers under the RERMP-03 project under the Directorate of Local Government Engineering in the Upazila Parishad hall.
Under the chairmanship of LGED Pangsha Upazila Engineer Khwazur Rahman, Upazila Executive Officer Mohammad Zafar Sadiq Chowdhury was present as the chief guest.
A check of Tk 1 lakh 19 thousand was given to each of them. These women workers saved money for 4 long years.
