 On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Martyred Captain Sheikh Kamal, a discussion meeting and prayer mahfil was held in Barura, Comilla. On Saturday, August 5 at five o’clock in the afternoon, a discussion meeting and doa mahfil was held on the occasion of the 74th birth anniversary of martyr Captain Sheikh Kamal, the eldest son of the greatest Bengali father of the nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. AZM Shafiuddin Shamim, Vice President of Comilla South District Awami League, Chairman of SQ Foundation, was present as the chief guest in the discussion meeting and prayer meeting. Member Secretary of SQ Foundation Tofail Hossain, former member of Comilla South District Awami League and former Mayor of Barura Municipality Bahaduruzzaman Bahadur, former Joint General Secretary of Barura Upazila Awami League and Chairman of Aganagar Union Parishad Mazharul Islam Mithu, Chairman of Jhlam Union Parishad Md Nurul were present. Islam, Barura Upazila Parishad Women Vice Chairman Kamrun Nahar Shikha, Khoshbas North Union Former Chairman Shah Alam, Barura Municipality Reserved Women Councilor Minwara Begum, Barura Upazila Chhatra League Former General Secretary and Upazila Jubo League Leader Nasir Uddin Mihir, Barura Upazila Chhatra League Former President Md Farhad Hossain During this time, the working life of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the birth story of the heroic freedom fighter Shaheed Captain Sheikh Kamal were discussed. At the end of the discussion, the program ended with milad and prayer.
