Professor Farida Parveen, principal of Dinajpur Government Women’s College, voluntarily resigned in the face of day-long agitation by students. (August 20) He signed the resignation letter at 5:30 pm. Earlier, from 10 am, the general students started protesting in the campus demanding the resignation of Principal Farida Parveen. In the afternoon, after the resignation of the principal, the students held an Anand march on the campus. Nusrat Jahan Meera of the social work department said that for a long time, teachers and students used to distance themselves from the college for no reason. He turned the office into an arena of irregularities and corruption. We all students are happy that the Principal of Dinajpur Government Women’s College Professor Farida Parveen has resigned. Among the protesting students were Sayema, Beethi, Varsha, Dia, Romana, Mau, Smriti, Leeza, Eva, Reshma, Sharmin, Marzina, etc. of Political Science Department.
