The Dinajpur Club was established in 2011 in the area adjacent to the Mission Road Mosque, Ward No. 11, Dinajpur Municipality, after which the club continued to advance and gained reputation by supporting the people in various developmental activities of the society. This club authority stands by the problems of local people including education, sports, physical exercise, educational activities of primary school, secondary and higher secondary college students. And this is how the Dinajpur club made its debut in 13 years.
Last Tuesday 9th January 2024 at 9 am at Dinajpur Club located in Mission Road area. First, hoisting of the national flag, paying tribute to the martyrs of the liberation war, doa mahfil, asking for forgiveness of souls, drawing competition, pillow game, football game for children and adults, physical exercises were held.
300, t-shirts and various prizes were awarded to the winners of the competition along with the club members sponsored by M/s Prithi Book Stall. Dinajpur club president SN Akash presided over and conducted the club’s general editor Md Noor Islam Nayan.
The foundation anniversary program concluded at 3 pm with a midday meal. The chief guest of the program, Mr. Mo Abdul Majeed Dinajpur, the owner and founder of M/s Prithvi Book Stall praised the Dinajpur club and wished it all the best. Since 1992, this book stall is located on the left side of the East Gate of Dinajpur Railway Station. I am a general businessman, I am happy to give away t-shirts and various prizes to club members and winners. He expressed his gratitude to the Dinajpur club authorities for honoring me and said that he will support the service work.
Dinajpur Press Club President Nurul Huda Dulal, Dinajpur Journalist Union President GM Hiru, Haji Mo Danesh University of Science and Technology (Habiprobi) Agricultural Professor Dr Mo Nazmul Huda Titu, Director of Alpha H&E Development Ltd were present as special guests. Electric and print media journalists including Shah Salam Noor Akash.
