 A digital health message program has been launched at Akhaura Upazila Health Complex in Brahmanbaria to make people health conscious. Immediately after going to the hospital through the program, common people will get various messages about maintaining good health. On Wednesday morning, a video was being played on a digital board that looked like a TV monitor next to the ticket counter of the hospital. There are various types of awareness messages related to health. It has shown videos on various topics including high blood pressure, diabetics. The upazila health and family planning officer said that it has been kept in front of the ticket counter for now. Later, these messages will be heard by the hospital visitors through speakers placed in a convenient place around the hospital. The digital health message has several awareness videos, from which the patients coming to the hospital can learn a lot. Meanwhile, National Nutrition Week was inaugurated in Akhaura on Wednesday with the theme of ‘Strong nutrition will ensure a smart Bangladesh’. On this occasion, Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Angyajai Marma was the chief guest at the discussion meeting in the auditorium of the Upazila Health Complex. Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Under the chairmanship of Himel Khan, women vice chairman of Upazila Parishad Nachreen Shafiq Aleya, Resident Medical Officer of Upazila Health Complex spoke among others. Lutfur Rahman, Upazila Agriculture Officer Shahana Begum, Upazila Academic Supervisor Kofil Uddin, Upazila Education Officer Md. Lutfur Rahman, Upazila Sanitary Inspector Rafiqul Islam, Journalist Bishjit Pal Babu, Juton Bonik, Rubel Ahmed etc.
