Maynul Bhuiya: A human chain was observed at Brahmanbaria railway station on Saturday morning to demand stoppage of inter-city Kalni Express and Vijay Express trains and stop black market of tickets at Brahmanbaria station. The program was celebrated in front of Brahmanbaria Press Club on the initiative of District Citizen Forum.
District Citizen Forum President Piyush Kanti Acharya presided over and general secretary Bir Muktijoddha Ratan Kanti Dutta gave a speech in the human band, the new general secretary of Brahmanbaria Press Club. Although the number of passengers has increased here, the number of seats in inter-city trains from Brahmanbaria station has been reduced. The speakers demanded an immediate stop to ticket black-marketing and suspension of Kalni Express and Vijay Express trains at Brahmanbaria station along with increasing the number of seats in all inter-city trains.
