There is a state of chaos across the country centered around the anti-discrimination student movement. Which has an impact on the Bangladesh national cricket team as well. The cricketers’ practice of the last two days has been ruined. Due to which the Bangladesh ‘A’ team has to leave the country without practicing the final stage.

According to Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) cricket operations sources, today (Monday) due to anti-discrimination student movement ‘March to Dhaka’ program, the practice of national team and ‘A’ team going to Pakistan has been stopped. However, the cricketers will leave the country for Pakistan at the predetermined time.

According to BCB sources, the Bangladesh ‘A’ team and the national team will go to Pakistan according to the pre-arranged schedule. The national team is scheduled to play a Test in Pakistan on August 16. Means still 10 days left. However, the time of ‘A’ team’s journey to Islamabad is approaching. There is not much time. Bangladesh ‘A’ team will leave the country for Pakistan tomorrow Tuesday (August 6) morning to play 2 4-day matches and 3 one-day matches.

Tricket Ops further informed that the prevailing situation in the country is being closely monitored. As soon as the conditions improve, the practice of the national team will start at Mirpur Shere Bangla Cricket Stadium.

BCB has not yet announced the date of resumption of practice. It has been said that the practice of the test team will start only when the situation is normal.

Everyone already knows that 4 members of Bangladesh Test team Mushfiqur Rahim, Muminul Haque, Mahmudul Hasan Joy and Shahadat Hossain Dipu will go to Pakistan with the ‘A’ team. The ‘A’ team will leave for Islamabad at 10 am on Tuesday.

Bangladesh will take on the host Pakistan ‘A’ team in the first 4-day match in Islamabad on August 10. Enamul Haque Vijay will lead the Bangladesh ‘A’ team in this tour.

Mushfiq, Muminul, Joy and Dipura will go to Rawalpindi after playing the first 4-day match. Then on August 16, when the Bangladesh national team goes to Pakistan, these 4 cricketers will join the main team from the ‘A’ team.

Meanwhile, the team management of ‘A’ team is also known. Mizanur Rahman Babul, who coached Dhaka Mohammedan, the runner-up of this year’s Dhaka Premier League, is becoming the coach of the ‘A’ team in Pakistan. Cricket Operations Manager Salim is moving on to become the team’s Tour Operations Manager. Abdur Razzak is the traveling companion of ‘A’ team as a selector.
