On the initiative of Nakla Upazila Awami League of Sherpur, former MP upazila Awami League’s long-time general secretary Mizanur Rahman’s svaran sabha and milad mahfil were held at Nakla Muktijoddha Complex building on Tuesday afternoon. The general secretary of Awami League, Shafiqul Islam Jinnah, upazila chairman Shah Md. Borhan Uddin, mayor Hafizur Rahman Liton and former freedom fighter parliament commander Abul Mansoor spoke on the occasion. Organizing Secretary Rezaul Karim Hira, Information Secretary Rafiqul Islam Sohel, Samiul Haque Mukta, Abdur Rashid Sarkar, Vice President Shafiqul Islam Dulal, UP Chairman Shaukat Hossain Khan Mukul, Mazharul Anwar Mohabbat and party leaders were present among others.
