Compulsory retirement of 3 police officers including Krishnapada Roy

The government has retired three senior police officers, including the former commissioner of Chittagong Metropolitan Police Headquarters Additional IGP Krishnapada Roy. Krishnapada Roy was attached to the Directorate of Police after the fall of the Awami League government.

On Tuesday (August 27), the senior secretary of the public security department of the Ministry of Home Affairs ordered Dr. They were sent to retire in three separate notifications signed by Mohammad Abidul Momen.

According to the notification, Additional IGP Krishnapad Roy attached to the Directorate of Police has been retired from government service in public interest as per the provisions of Section 45 of the Public Service Act, 2018 (Act No. 57 of 2018).

Khulna Metropolitan Police Commissioner (DIG) member of BCS (Police) cadre. Mozammel Haque was retired from public service in the public interest as per the provisions of Section 45 of the Public Service Act, 2018 (Act No. 57 of 2018). In a separate notification, Khulna Metropolitan Police Additional Commissioner Sardar Rakibul Islam has also been retired by the government.

Earlier, on August 13, the former head of the special branch (SB) of the police, Additional IGP Md. Monirul Islam and recently former DMP Commissioner Habibur Rahman were sent on compulsory retirement.

Additional IGP of police headquarters on August 21. Atiqul Islam, Md. Anwar Hossain and CTTC head Md. Asaduzzaman was sent on compulsory retirement.

After that, additional IGP of industrial area police. Mahabubur Rahman, newly ex-CID chief Mohammad Ali Mia and police headquarters DIG Jaydev Kumar Bhadra were sent on compulsory retirement by the government.
