Tangail Basail in Mr. Drunk in the water. A three-and-a-half-year-old child named Saad died. The incident took place on Monday (13 February) afternoon in Gilabari Uttar Para village of Kauljani union of the upazila. Shishu Saad is the son of Labu Sarkar of Gilabari North Para village of Kauljani Union upazila.
Locals said that the child’s mother was busy making mustard at home. At that time the child was playing outside. After a while, the child’s mother started looking for her child. He found the child in the pond near the house without finding anywhere. Later he was rescued and taken to Basail Upazila Health Complex where the doctor on duty declared the child dead.
Basail Upazila Health Complex Medical Officer Maryam Akhter Happy said that the child died before being brought to the hospital.
