The 74th anniversary of Bangladesh Awami League’s struggle and development has been celebrated in Goaland of Rajbari through various programs organized by Upazila Awami League. On the occasion of the founding anniversary, on Friday (June 23), the leaders and activists hoisted the national and party flags and garlanded Bangabandhu’s portrait at the Goland Upazila Awami League office. Later, a discussion meeting was held at Shahid Fakir Mohiuddin Ansar club premises on the occasion of the foundation anniversary at 11 am. After the discussion, a colorful procession was taken out. Upazila Awami League President Md. Under the chairmanship of Mustafa Munsi, Member of Parliament for Rajbari-1 Constituency and former Minister of State for Education Kazi Keramat Ali was present as the chief guest. Upazila Awami League General Secretary Biplab Ghosh, District Awami League Science and Technology Affairs Secretary Kazi Rakibul Islam Shantunu, District Jubo Mahila League President Kaniz Fatima Chaiti, Municipal Awami League President and Municipal Mayor Nazrul Islam Mondal, Municipal Awami League General Secretary were also present. Shafiqul Islam Sujjal along with the upazila Awami League leaders and activists of all organs and allied organizations. After the discussion meeting, the colorful procession went around the main road of Goland Bazar and ended at Goland Bus Stand.
