Desk news: In a joint message on Friday (June 6), Islamic Youth Movement Bangladesh Central President Atiqur Rahman Mujahid and Secretary General Mufti Mansur Ahmed Saki, on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Adha, extended their greetings to the countrymen and the global Muslim Ummah, calling for building a society free from exploitation and based on piety by being inspired by the ideal of sacrifice.

The leaders mentioned that Allah has made animal sacrifice obligatory, and Allah has made the sacrifice of life and property obligatory for the establishment of the religion.

They explained that this Eid not only inspires the spirit of sacrifice, but also strengthens the bonds of brotherhood, harmony and friendship in the society. To make the memory of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) eternal, Allah has made sacrifice obligatory on the Muslim Ummah, so that people can triumph over their ego and succeed in this world and the hereafter. The main lesson of sacrifice is to become a complete pious believer by abandoning ego.

The leaders emphasized that the religion of Iqamat is not limited to worship alone; its ultimate form is the establishment of Islamic discipline in the state. Therefore, in the new Bangladesh, everyone, regardless of party affiliation or religion, must come forward unitedly to implement the provisions of the Quran.

They expressed the opinion that the countrymen are dreaming of a new Bangladesh after the fall of the Awami regime. It is important to stand up for the expectations of the people to fulfill this dream. If we only hold elections without ensuring reforms and justice for the genocide in the new Bangladesh, which was won with the blood of students and the people, fascism worse than the defeated fascist Awami League will rise. All parties must unite to fulfill the expectations of the people by abandoning terrorism and hegemony.

Quoting the words of the Holy Quran, “Say, my prayer, my sacrifice, my life and my death are for Allah, the Lord of the Worlds,” the leaders declared that Eid al-Adha provides an opportunity to gain closeness to Allah. Only by following Islamic ideals in real life and establishing a society based on justice and fairness can one achieve the pleasure of Allah.

They urged everyone to unite in building an exploitation-free society inspired by the ideals of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) and requested that Eid be celebrated in a clean environment with health awareness.
