The 46th foundation of BNP was celebrated annually in Cumilla through distribution of food items and prayer mahfil prayers among the flood victims. The 46th founding anniversary of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) was celebrated in the morning at the BNP party headquarters in Laksam Thana Road. Md. Abul Kalam, Industrial Affairs Secretary of Central BNP, spoke as the chief guest.
He sympathized with the flood-affected helpless people and expressed his firm conviction to stand by them, calling on everyone to work together to strengthen the hands of BNP Acting Chairman Tarek Rahman.
Upazila BNP convener Abdur Rahman Badal, member secretary Nur Hossain, municipal BNP convener Abdul Hashem Manu, member secretary Abul Hossain Milan, upazila BNP former general secretary Dr. Nur Ullah Raihan, former Por BNP general secretary Bellal Rahman Majumdar, former youth party president were present. Mosharraf Hossain, former Jubo Dal president Mahbubur Rahman Manik, Municipal Youth Dal convenor Mahbubur Rahman Manu, Member Secretary Afzal Hossain, BNP, volunteers, Jubo Dal, Chhatra Dal and leaders and activists of organizations and cooperative organizations.
Later prayers were offered for the recovery of Begum Khaleda Zia, recovery of Tarek Zia and late BNP leaders and missing leaders.
