A young man named Hafizul Islam (27) died after being hit by a train in Akhaura, Brahmanbaria. The dismembered body of the young man was recovered from the Gangasagar New Railway Bridge area of the Akhaura-Chittagong railway on Sunday morning by the Akhaura Railway Police Station. The deceased was Abdul Khalek of Bongaj village of Dharkhar Union of Hafizul Upazila. Mia’s son. Officer-in-charge (OC) of Akhaura Railway Police Station, Abdul Alim Shikder, confirmed the truth of the incident after receiving word from people in the morning that the dismembered body of the deceased youth was recovered from Gangasagar Railway Bridge area. The body of the deceased has been sent to the district headquarter hospital morgue for post-mortem. A case of wrongful death has been filed in Akhaura Railway Police Station in this regard.
