 On Saturday, June 3 at Matasagar Palkiya Kendra Dinajpur Auditorium, Dinajpur AP, World Vision Bangladesh organized a discussion meeting on Reproductive Health Services Orientation and Menstrual Hijing and “Amar Jeeban Amar Swapna”-Child Labor Elimination and Reproductive Health Services Orientation and Menstrual Hygienic for the purpose of child labor eradication and schooling children. Chair-tables were provided to 55 school-aged children involved in hazardous child labour. Syed Jahangir Alam, Mayor of Dinajpur Municipality spoke as the chief guest under the chairmanship of Md. Samiul Alam, President of Child Labor Monitoring Committee of No. 4 Sheikhpura Union. Dr. Md. Fazlur Rahman, supervisor of 250-bed Dinajpur General Hospital, Dr. Md. Mahafuzur Rahman Bhuia, deputy director of mill factories and establishments inspectorate, spoke as special guests. Project Officer Richard Tapas Das officiated. 6 sanitary napkins to prevent menstrual hygiene were given to 307 girl children present in the event. Working children, children forum, youth forum, parents and child labor monitoring committee leaders participated in the event.
