Tasmin Akhter Oishi, a girl from Lalmonirhat, became the second country best in the Sheikh Kamal Inter-School and Madrasah Athletics Competition.

He came second in the inter-school and madrassa athletics competition at the Dhaka Army Stadium on Monday (March 13).

Tasmin Akter Aishi is the daughter of Isaac Ali and Anjuara of Tongbhanga Union of Hatibandha Upazila.Ā  She is a 7th grader of Hatibandha SS Model Government High School and a 6th grader of newly admitted Bangladesh Sports School (BKSP).

It is known that Tasmin Akhter Oishi won the first place at the upazila and district level in the Sheikh Kamal inter-school and madrasa athletics competition.Ā  After winning the divisional level, Oishi participated in the 100 meter race at the national level and secured the second position.Ā  At the Dhaka Army Stadium, he finished second and won the silver medal.

At the end of the competition, Tasmin Akhter Oishi received the silver medal from Prime Minister’s Industry and Investment Advisor Salman Fazlur Rahman.

Aishi’s brother Shahinur Rahman said that this achievement of Aishi has brightened the face of the entire Lalmonirhat district.Ā  He asked everyone to pray for his sister’s success.
