Saudi arrested 13 Pakistani nationals for stealing money from customers’ accounts

  The country’s law and order security forces have arrested 13 Pakistani nationals for stealing money from the accounts of various customers in the city of Dammam, Saudi Arabia. According to Saudi police, the fraudster called the victims and sent them text messages threatening to extend their bank card expiry date and close their bank cards, asking them to know their private account numbers and requiring them to update them in order to withdraw money from it. Customers were withdrawing money through fraudulently created new cards. The fraudsters were doing these frauds with the help of a Pakistani person based in Pakistan.28 mobile phones and 30 SIM cards were seized from the fraudsters, and subsequently closed, and legal action taken against them and referred for public prosecution.
