The dead bodies of 2 youths have been recovered in a separate incident in Kawarkhop Union of Ramu Upazila of Cox’s Bazar. On Friday morning (March 3) local people found the dead body of Nurul Islam’s son Habibullah Prakash Fajr Ali (30) in Andhar Manik area of Kalar Ghona village in the neighborhood of Ukhiyarghona Lama of the union. The police came and recovered the body. According to eyewitness sources, the body of the dead body has multiple stab marks in different places. Meanwhile, yesterday morning, a young man committed suicide by hanging himself from a jackfruit tree in Lort Ukhiyar Ghona village of the same union. UP member Mohammad Kayesh said that Abdul Karim (32), son of Hafez Ahmad of Ward No. 7, Lot Ukhiyarghona, tried to commit suicide by hanging himself on a jackfruit tree behind the house. At that time, the people of the house rescued him in a coma and took him to Ramu Hospital, where the doctor on duty declared him dead. On receiving the news, a team led by SI Asim Kumar Das, under the command of Ramu Police Station Officer-in-Charge Anwarul Hossain, visited the spot and collected all the evidence. He said that the body was recovered and sent to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital for autopsy. Investigation is ongoing, legal action will be taken after uncovering the mystery.
