After two long years, the name of the president and general secretary of the new committee of Bangladesh Awami Jubo League Rajbari branch has been announced.
Md. Shaukat Hasan is president and Md. The new partial committee of Awami Jubo League was announced in Rajbari with Nuruzzaman Mia Sohel as its general secretary.
Bangladesh Awami Jubo League chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Parsh presided over the second session of Jubo League’s triennial conference at Rajbari Municipal Auditorium. As there are nine candidates for the post of president and general secretary, they were given ten minutes to negotiate. As there was no agreement, General Secretary Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil proposed to Chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash to take a decision, then Chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash Md. Shaukat Hasan is president and Md. Nuruzzaman Mia Sohel announced the names of two people as general secretary.
Within the next 45 days, this partial committee was formed into a full-fledged committee with 101 members, and instructions were given to submit it to the Central Committee.
Before this, the first session was held at Rajbari Shahid Khushi Railway Maidan at 10 am under the chairmanship of Zahurul Islam. Along with the national anthem, the leaders inaugurated the tri-anniversary conference of the Jubo League by hoisting the national and party flags, flying balloons and pigeons.
Chairman of Bangladesh Awami Jubo League Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash spoke as the chief guest and inaugurated the conference. Bangladesh Awami League president Mandali member Shahjahan Khan MP spoke as the guest of honor.
Alhaj Mainul Hasan Khan Nikhil, General Secretary of Central Youth League spoke as the main speaker. Rajbari District Awami League President Rajbari-2 Constituency Member of Parliament Zillul Hakim, District Awami League Vice President and Rajbari-1 Constituency MP Alhaj Kazi Keramat spoke as special guests. Ali, MP Salma Chowdhury Ruma of reserved women’s seat, Advocate Khodeja Nasreen Akter Hossain, Joint General Secretary of Central Jubo League Subrata Pal, Organizational Secretary Abu Monir Md. Shahidul Haque Chowdhury Russell, Publicity Secretary Joydev Nandi, Rajbari District Council Chairman AKM Shafiqul Morshed Aruj, Central Jubo League member Dr. Central Jubo League leaders including Aurangzeb Aru, Yashir Arafat Ramim, Reza E Rabbi, Ashraful Islam Ratan and Rajbari district Awami League leaders and activists at various levels were present.
