On 15 March 2023 AD, a raiding party of RAB-10 conducted an operation in Dania Nayapara area under Jatrabari police station of the capital Dhaka and seized 01 persons with 720 (seven hundred and twenty) tapentadol tablets worth approximately 1,08,000/- (one hundred and eight thousand) Tk. The drug dealer was arrested. The name of the arrested drug dealer is Md. Belal Hossain (29). Meanwhile, 01 mobile phone was recovered from him.
Besides, on the same date, another raiding team of RAB-10 conducted another operation in Aganagar area under Dakshin Keraniganj police station of Dhaka district and arrested 01 drug dealers along with 110 (one hundred and ten) Puria heroin. The arrested drug dealer is identified as Md Aziz Khan (45).
Preliminary investigation revealed that the arrested persons are professional drug dealers. They have been supplying tapentadol and other drugs including heroin to Jatrabari and Dakshin Kernaiganj and surrounding areas for quite some time.
A separate drug case has been registered against the arrested persons in the concerned police station.
