Yesterday, on 27th February 2023 AD, a raiding team of RAB-10 conducted an operation in Ikuria area under Dakshin Keraniganj police station of Dhaka district and arrested 01 drug dealer with 685 (six hundred and eighty five) pure heroin and 06 (six) pieces of Yaba tablets. The name of the arrested drug dealer is Mosha: Morjina Begum (45). During this time, 07 mobile phones and drug sales cash-56,600/- (fifty six thousand six hundred) were recovered from him. Besides, on the same date, another raiding team of RAB-10 conducted another operation in Teghria area under Dakshin Keraniganj police station of Dhaka district and arrested 01 drug dealer with 85 (eighty five) pieces of Yaba tablets. The name of the arrested person is known to be Arif Hossain (42). Preliminary investigation revealed that the arrested are professional drug dealers. They have been supplying heroin and Yaba and other narcotics to various areas including South Keraniganj for quite some time. A separate drug case has been registered against the arrested in the concerned police station.
