Later he sold the fish to a trader in Dhaka at the rate of 3 thousand 4 hundred taka per kg for a total of 6 thousand 460 taka. In this regard, Upazila Fisheries Officer Shahariar Zaman Sabu said that the taste of Padma’s big hilsa fish has decreased a little. Because there is no current in the river, the depth of the river has decreased. There is no restriction in the Amaden Fisheries Act to catch large hilsa. But if it is below 10 inches, there is a restriction under the Fisheries Act. Usually such a big hilsa fish of Padma is not seen all the time.
