Maynul Bhuiyan: Journalist union formed a human chain on Saturday morning demanding justice for the murder of all journalists, including journalist couple Sagar Sarwar and Mehrun Rooney. The program was held in front of the press club. Warnings were issued that if the murders were not prosecuted, more severe agitation would be carried out.
Speakers in the human chain complained that even after 11 years, the mystery of this murder has not been revealed. The investigation report of the murder case has been delayed 95 times. There is negligence in investigating the case. It is the responsibility of the state. The speakers demanded that all those involved in the killing of journalists in the country, including Sagar-Rooney, should be swiftly arrested and given exemplary punishment.
