The 53rd Great Independence and National Day was celebrated in Trishal, Mymensingh with colorful arrangements and due dignity. On the occasion of the day, Trishal upazila administration organized wreath laying, physical exercise and discussion meeting, reception of brave freedom fighters and martyred freedom fighters families. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md presided over the discussion meeting held on the ground of Nazrul Academy Government High School on Sunday morning, March 26 Aktaruzzaman. Former Member of Parliament, former General Secretary of District Awami League, Chairman of Upazila Parishad Alhaj Abdul Matin Sarkar was present as the chief guest. Assistant Commissioner (Land) Hasan Abdullah Al Mahmud, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Trishal Police Station Md Main Uddin, Great Freedom War Company Commander Gazi Hormuz Ali, Brave Freedom Fighter Nurul Islam Momen and others spoke as special guests. Trishal Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md Mofiz Uddin conducted the program. Trishal Upazila Livestock Officer Tanzila Ferdausi, Upazila Project Implementation Officer Md.
