Social Welfare Minister Nuruzzaman Ahmed MP said that the government is giving 54 types of allowances through the Ministry of Social Welfare to improve the quality of life for poor and helpless people.

He said these things in the afternoon (March 26) at the donation distribution ceremony for the rehabilitation of beggars at Saptibari Union Parishad ground in Lalmonirhat.

Social Welfare Minister Nuruzzaman Ahmed MP said, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mojibur Rahman introduced Bangladesh to the world.  Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has turned that country into a role model for world development.  Bangladesh was once called the country of fakirs.  Now the world is surprised to see the development of that fakir’s country.

The social welfare minister also said that the hyena group wanted to make the country Pakistan by killing Bangabandhu.  But the countrymen did not allow it.  Seeing the development of the country today, that group of hyenas started a conspiracy.  Wants to hinder the development of the country.  Everyone should be alert about this hyena.  At the same time, the Minister called on everyone to give a proper response to the hyenas by voting for the boat in the next election to continue the trend of development.

Under the chairmanship of Aditmari Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) GR Sarwar, Lalmonirhat Social Services Department Deputy Director Abdul Matin, Velabari Union Parishad (UP) Chairman Mohammad Ali, Upazila Awami League Secretary Rafiqul Alam, Saptibari UP Chairman Abdus Sohrab, Upazila Social Services Officer Roshan spoke among others.  Ali Mondal and others.

In the event, 16 beggars of Saptibari Union were given one battery-operated rickshaw per person and a check of 50,000 rupees per person was given to 22 people suffering from various incurable diseases.
